How much space does a commercial swing set need?

More than almost any other piece of equipment. Per the CPSC Handbook, the use zone extends in front of and behind the swings a distance of twice the height of the top bar above the surface, and at least 6 feet to each side. Confirm the exact zone on the spec sheet for the model you choose, then use the playground layout guide to place it.
