Check Your Quote Status

Playground projects run for months and pass through several hands. Anyone holding the quote number can find out where things stand, without an account and without ringing anyone.

Where to find your quote number

It looks like PG-00000 and sits at the top of every quote document we issue, in the subject line of the email that delivered it, and on any revised version. If you cannot find it, the email address the quote was sent to is enough for us to locate it.

What the statuses mean

• In preparation. We have your brief and we are confirming availability, lead time and freight with the manufacturer. Nothing is required from you.
• Sent. The quote is with you and valid for the period printed on it. That validity period is real, because freight and material costs move.
• Revised. Something changed, on your side or ours, and a new version supersedes the old one. The quote number stays the same and the revision number increments.
• Awaiting payment. You have accepted and we are waiting on payment, a purchase order, or a signed cooperative contract reference.
• Ordered. Paid or a purchase order accepted, and placed with the manufacturer. A ship date follows once the factory confirms.
• In production. Being built. Lead time is counted from this point, not from the day you enquired.
• Shipped. On a truck, with a tracking reference and a delivery window. Someone needs to be on site to receive it.
• Expired. Past its validity date. Ask us to refresh it. That is routine and not a problem.

Why a quote expires

Steel, plastic and freight all move, and a quote that stayed valid forever would have to be padded to protect against that. We would rather quote you tightly and refresh it than quote you high and hold it. If your funding took longer than expected, that is normal in this sector, and refreshing costs you nothing.

Changing something

Quantities, configurations, colours, adding surfacing or shade, moving to a different age range, splitting the project into phases: all normal, all fine, none of it starts the process over. Send the quote number and describe what changed. A revised document usually comes back the same working day.

If you are chasing on someone else's behalf

You do not need to have been the person who requested it. Finance chasing a purchase order, a board member preparing a paper, a facilities manager who inherited the project: send the quote number and tell us who you are. We will not need a password.

If the order is placed and you want a delivery update

Send the quote number and we will get a current answer from the manufacturer rather than repeating the original estimate. If a date has slipped we will tell you as soon as we know, not when you ask.

The lookup form

A self-service lookup, where you enter the quote number and the email address it was sent to and get the status immediately, is being built. Until it is live, email us the quote number and you will get an answer the same working day.
