What to send if you want a number quickly

A quote is only as good as what it is based on. These five turn a range into a firm price.

The space

Length and width of the area you can actually give over to play, in feet. A photograph from one corner helps more than you would think.

The ages

Under two, two to five, five to twelve, or a mix. This changes the equipment, the fall height and the surfacing depth.

The ZIP code

Freight is quoted to a real address and varies by hundreds of dollars across a single state.

The number

Even a rough one. A budget stops us proposing something you cannot buy, and stops you sitting through a presentation you did not need.

How you pay

Purchase order, cooperative contract, card, ACH, grant, or still working it out. It affects the paperwork, not the price.

What we can answer without seeing the site

  • Whether a system fits once the safety use zone is counted, not just the structure.
  • What a project that size costs all in, and how much of it is not equipment.
  • Whether a configuration meets accessible component counts for its size.
  • What surfacing your fall height requires, and what it costs to keep compliant.
  • Whether your agency already holds a cooperative contract you can buy against.
  • What the lead time really is right now, rather than what the brochure says.

What needs a visit or a drawing

Slopes, drainage, tree roots, buried services, access for a delivery truck, and anything involving demolition. We will tell you plainly when a site visit is needed rather than quote around it and revise later.

If you are early

Plenty of people contact us a year or more before there is money in place, because a credible number is what unlocks the money. A quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing, and we will write it in a form you can hand to a board, a council or a grant committee.

We sell, we do not manufacture

PlayGrove sells manufacturer-built commercial playground equipment rather than making it ourselves. We handle the specification, the quoting and the relationship with you, and the equipment ships from the factory. If what you are describing will not suit your site, your age range or your budget, we will tell you before you order, even when that means a smaller sale or none at all.
