Hang seats with swing chains and hardware, and set a rubber swing mat under each seat where feet wear the surfacing down. Full frames are in commercial swing sets.

Frequently asked questions

Can I hang bucket seats and belt seats on the same swing set?

The CPSC Public Playground Safety Handbook recommends hanging toddler bucket seats in a separate bay or on a separate frame from belt seats for older children. Plan one bay per seat type.

Will these seats hold up outdoors year round?

They are commercial rubber seats made for outdoor public playgrounds. Check them after hard freezes and long stretches of strong sun, since cold and UV are what crack rubber over time.

When should a swing seat be replaced?

Replace a seat as soon as you see cracks, tears, exposed inserts or worn hanging points, and check the chain and connectors at the same time. The inspection and maintenance guide covers the routine.

Is an ADA swing seat enough to make a swing accessible?

The seat is one part. A child also needs a firm, accessible route to the swing and a surface a wheelchair can cross. See the ADA playground requirements guide and our inclusive play products.

Do the seats come with chains?

The ADA adaptive seat includes chains for an 8 foot top rail. Belt and bucket seats are sold as the seat, and chain and connectors are in swing set parts. If you are not sure what your frame needs, send us a photo.

Can we pay by purchase order?

Yes. Schools, churches and agencies can check out with a purchase order, and freight is quoted to your ZIP code.
